Christ in the Western United States
Under mandate from Archbishop Carmel H. Carfora,
S.T.D., Archbishop Metropolitan of the North American Old Roman
Catholic Church, the Western Regionary Diocese was created on
October 22, 1945. On December 2, 1980, the Western Regionary
Diocese was given over to the pastoral care of the Society of
Augustinian Restorationists, an Institute of clergy and lay person
established by the Most Rev. Frederick L. Pyman, S.T.D., the first
Bishop Ordinary of the Western Regionary Diocese.
The Diocese includes the States of California,
Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Parishes
and Missions in Idaho and Arizona are under the jurisdiction of
the Bishop Ordinary of the Western Regionary Diocese. |
